Firstly go to your Microsoft teams and select Calendar from the left side.
Find the meeting you already created or create a new meeting with the “New” button at the top right.
Type the email of the user you would like to send an invite to. You can also type their name and select them in the drop down menu if they appear. If not, you will need to type their entire email address in the invite attendee field.
If you would like to add them after already creating the meeting you can go to your calendar and click the meeting then select “edit”. Entering the email in the field afterward will change the button at the top right to say “Send”. This will send the meeting to additional users added.
If the meeting has already begun you can select People at the top and select “Share Invite” on the right side.
Once selected a small menu appears with two options. The first option, “Copy meeting link” will allow you to copy the link of the meeting and be able to paste this anywhere you want to send the invitation. For example, I can search a user on Teams and Chat with them, paste the link, and they can click and join the meeting.
The second option, “Share via default email” will open your email and create a message with the link in it. From there you can type the user you want to send it to in the “To” field.
