How do I get my phone contacts into MoxiEngage?

Question:

Situation:

You have contacts in your phone now that you want to be pushed to MoxiEngage or want contacts you add in the future to be added to MoxiEngage, but they are not in your email to sync over currently.

Answer:

MoxiEngage does not sync directly with any phone; however, you can have your phone push contacts to your Moxi Sync email so they will begin to appear in Engage.

New Contacts:

If you want new contacts to move from your phone to Engage, you will need to have your phone sync your contacts with your Moxi Sync email. This will allow your phone to pushnewly savedcontacts to your email which will then sync to Engage. See links below on how to set this up on your device.

Note: If you are having trouble getting your phone connected with your email, you can reach out to your phone service provider or your phone manufacturer to receive instructions for your specific device.

Pre-existing Contacts:

If you have pre-existing contacts in your phone you would like to move over, you will need to export your contacts from your phone and then add them to the correct import file to import for MoxiEngage. Unfortunately, phones do not have a way to push preexisting contacts to your email so in order to get your contacts into MoxiEngage, you will need to take a few steps.
